| Babasaheb
Naik College of Engineering,
Pusad is one of the best Engineering institutions
in the Maharashtra State, India. It is recognized
by the All India Council for Technical Education,
Government of India, New Delhi and affiliated
to Amravati University, Amravati, Maharashtra
State. |
The
institute was established in July 1983 and
named after Late Shri Babasaheb
Naik, one of the most revered sons
of the soil and the elder brother of Late
Shri Vasantraoji Naik, Ex. Chief Minister
of Maharashtra State, India.
Since
its establishment, Babasaheb Naik College
of Engineering, Pusad has gracefully crystallized
into a very successful institute with a
gamut of activities encompassing social
activities, development of rural areas,
and student welfare.

This
is one of the top Engineering Colleges of
Maharashtra State. The campus is spread
over a picturesque landscape of 30 acres.
Residential arrangement for 1200 students
including 200 girls is made in 4 boys' and
2 girls' hostels. There is a residential
facility provided for 38 teaching staff
members and a bungalow for the Principal.
Every
year the institute hosts a National level
Technical Paper Contest-"Threshold"
for students of all the engineering branches
existing in the college and a large number
of students from all over the country participate
in it. The institute also hosts many seminars
and symposiums every year for the faculty
members as well.
