The college pays special attention to sports and games. The college has very big playground and facilities for sports and games like Cricket, Basketball, Football,Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, etc. The college has a well maintained Gymnasium including a multi gym where 16 students can exercise at a time.

The  college has gained reputation for preparing and encouraging good sportsmen. Many students represent the University and State in various sports and games. A few students of the college have excelled and become national level sportsmen.

• National Social Service(N.S.S.) :

The watch word of the N.S.S. is 'NOT ME BUT YOU'. Goal of N.S.S. is technical education through community service. Overall objective of N.S.S. is development of students personality through community service. N.S.S. facility takes the students close to rural life. We have three N.S.S. units of 50 students each including one for girls.

• Teacher Guardian Scheme :

In this scheme, every student is assigned a teacher as his/her guardian. The teacher guardian helps the students when needed. • Students Representative Council (SRC)

The Students Representative Council is the committee of students nominated by the college on the merit basis.The various posts in the executive body of SRC are President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Sports Secretary, Ladies Representative, etc.(For details please see Student bodies).

• Indian Society  for Technical Education Student Chapter

There is a membership drive for ISTE students chapter from a long time in the college. The number of students increases every year. The ISTE chapter conducts many activities such as  lecture sessions, demonstration of computer aided learning packages, workshops, National level technical paper contests, personality development programs, etc.(For details please see Student bodies).

• Institute of Engineers Chapter

There is an IE chapter for each branch. This chapter also conducts various activities for the student development. Many guest lectures on latest topics by experienced persons are arranged. Quizzes on different topics are arranged from time to time to increase the knowledge of students and many other activities are also conducted.

The institute has an Alumni Association aimed at striving for the development of institution through creative suggesions & actual participation in institutional activities.The Association is giving a helping hand in training & placement and acting as facilitators for admissions.The mutual interaction between alumina has turned to be fruitful in upliftment of their career graph.
